Keeping A Journal

My first journaling course concluded on October
15th. It was bitter sweet. I feel I learned just
as much as my students. We journaled about
favorite childhood memories, music, and even
beautiful pictures. Even though I have journaled
for several years, I continue to learn more about
this gift of writing. I find that it has many
benefits for the mind, body and spirit. To learn
more, you may sign up for my journaling course
though Harford Community College. What are your
experiences with journaling?

Dee's CD Single 'Nurses' Anthem is here! God bless those who care for others!

Nursing is very dear to my heart. I have been a
nurse for nearly ten years. Many patients come to
mind as I have cared for many, but nothing
compares to taking care of a family member. My
husband recently had two brain operations and
there were times I was not sure he would survive.
I know God kept both of us throughout this ordeal.
I truely applaud the nurses who cared for my
husband and me during this trial. I have written a
song to honor those called to care for others. If
you wish to honor someone who cared for you or
your loved one with this song go to this link:
<ahref="www.cdbaby.com/deejones"target="_blank"></a
> Share your thoughts about the song and about
your
experience with a nurse or caregiver.

What is Love?

People have many definitions for the word LOVE.
Some say it's a warm feeling in your heart.
Others say it's a seed that becomes a rose. The
Bible says that love is not jeolous, doesn't envy
and it bears all things. I saw an old couple
coming out of a store. The husband was rolling
his wife in a wheelchair. He helped her get in
the van and before he closed the door, he placed
a gentle kiss on her cheek. I was so moved by his
gesture. I looked at my son and I said,"That is
love, when you give to someone who cannot give
back. What do you say love is?

Building Websites...

Here I go again...building yet another website. I
do enjoy creating them. Websites are quite
informative. There are many types of websites,
entertainment, educational, artistic and more. I
plan to put music on my next website. Others
recommend I set up a MYSpace! I have not done so
at this point. What are your thoughts about
MySpace pages. Which is best, the webpage or
MySpace page. The debate is still out. I am not
sure what I will do. For now, I will stick with
the good ole website...what do you think?
